The Brothers of Psi Iota Chapter welcome you

In 1946, a seed was planted that has evolved into the tree that we know as the Psi Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. The service that is given through the various activities and events of our chapter is a testament of who we are and our commitment to excellence for over 75 years of excellence. We believe as we preserve our heritage, while building our future, we not only appreciate how we came to be, but also insure that those who follow us are also able to move to the next level by the footprints that are left. As men of Omega, we give of ourselves, as we aim to serve our communities and those with whom we interact. Psi Iota Chapter is an unincorporated association of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated

Dover Delaware
Office of the Basileus

On behalf of the Psi Iota Chapter of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, we welcome you to our site. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as the 31st Basileus of the oldest chapter of our Fraternity located in the State of Delaware. The strength of our chapter is not in our numbers. It is in the passion, quality and service rendered by our Brothers. It is my privilege to serve with such a distinguished team – thoroughly immersed in the Spirit of our beloved Fraternity.

We, as men of Omega, will continue to shape the future by uplifting and preserving our community, serving others, and being a powerful influence through various outreach initiatives, as well as offer scholarships to deserving students to help them pursue their dreams of higher education.

The last few years have brought extraordinary challenges as a result of the pandemic. These challenges were met by Psi Iota’s incredible resilience and fortitude. We never broke stride as we continued to serve the Greater Kent and Sussex County communities, and beyond. We changed, adapted, and become smarter, all with the goal of putting our best foot forward. And our efforts didn’t go unnoticed. In the past, Psi Iota received recognition within the Second District (NY, NJ, PA, MD, & DE) as the Social Actions Chapter of the Year several times. However, during these trying times, we were recognized as the International Social Actions Chapter of the Year in 2019 & 2020.

You too can help make a difference. Go to our homepage and click on the donate button. And if you can, give generously.  Your contribution will fund college scholarships and support Psi Iota’s other community projects and programming.

Thank you for your partnership as we strive to help Delawareans and beyond build a better tomorrow, starting today.
